1 APR 13 - Portofino was one of the coolest coastal towns we visited in Italy! The seaside homes were so colorful and bright and the setting was so charming. It was really hard not to like it.
Atop the hills overlooking Portofino is a church (Chiesa San Giorgio) that dominates the landscape. To the west of the church, there is a wonderful view of the hills meeting the Mediterranean Sea. Eli and Grandpa took a little break to enjoy it.

At the top of the hill overlooking Portofino is an old fortification named the Castello Brown that provides amazing views of the entire area. As usual, Eve had found an interesting item she thought she display prominently.
The view from Castello Brown was impressive.
