We arrived in Germany on September 6th. It was the first overseas trip for everyone except Cody. Stuttgart, Germany was to be our new home. Of course, we set out right away to see the nearby sights. The first place we visited was the Neuschwanstein Castle in Southern Germany. It was an easy day trip being only 2 1/2 hours away.
Heidi found the cutest German dress for Eve and just had to get it. Of course, she loved it. When we first arrived in Germany, we stayed at the hotel on Panzer Kasserne which is an American military base near Stuttgart. We ultimately lived there for 36 days which is actually a fairly short time to be stuck in the hotel by Stuttgart standards. We were grateful for that.
Kjersti and Eli tried to really get into the culture and fit in with the locals when they first arrived...
Then things went terribly wrong. ;)
