One of our favorite places in Virginia is Prince William Forest Park. It was located just across the street from our home. We loved going there to go exploring in the woods, throw rocks in the river or climb trees.
If you see these guys near a body of water, no matter how small or shallow, odds are they're going to be throwing rocks into it. For your own safety, please steer clear.
In the northern part of the park along Quantico Creek is an amazing fern grove.
