Eli loves the Phineas and Ferb title squence (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj9TJ_QEMcI) and as you'll see, he has been especially influenced by Ferb's awesome guitar playing. An ode to Eli's Guitar Hero!

Kjersti Shots
Kjersti tried to convince us that this is what a pirate looks like when he gets hit in the crotch. I'm not sure that's true or not, but it certainly works as a good caption.
How Kjersti got him to make this face we'll never know. We're just happy no one was hurt in capturing this reaction.
While some of the Kjersti's self portraits didn't turn out exactly as expected, they weren't any less interesting.
Kjersti felt that when Dad does household chores, it becomes picture-worthy material.
Cody paid Kjersti $10 not to post this shot. Apparently, he should have paid $20. Who knew Cody slept with a doll and a Lightening McQueen blanket?
Heidi made this awesome picture "face cut out" for our Ward's Valentine's day party. Eli "the Sailor Man" Strong took pride in presenting his mom, Heidi "Olive Oil" Strong with flowers. Good work behind the camera Kjersti!Saturday, January 31, 2009
A January to Remember
Our patio furniture takes on a new purpose during the winter months. It's becomes our official snow measuring device. This picture was taken January 17, 2009.
January 29, 2009. Still snowing.
January 30, 2009. Still snowing.
This morning, January 31, I utilized Chubs to provide a little perspective. In this rare picture, he is actually standing still. Notice how the snow behind him is almost as tall as he is. I've cleared the driveway of at least four inches of snow four of the last five days.
To make the back yard accessable, I used the snowblower to cut a path for the kids.
We're learning that the North Country (that's what the locals call this neck of the woods) is an interesting place to be in the winter. I would say we've got around two and a half feet on the ground right now and we're not even into the month of February. Historically, February has less snow than January, so we'll see how things pan out!

Welcome Home!
Kjersti, with a little help from Eli, likes to stage grand welcome home celebrations for me. I love them (who wouldn't?). She was good enough to run through a "do over" for the sake of the camera. Eli is good in this one for a bit of comic relief. Enjoy!

The Star Wars Kid
Some of you may know to what I'm referring to when I say "Star Wars Kid" and some of you may not. For those not yet in the know, check out this link and then watch the movie (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GJOVPjhXMY). If you already know what I'm talking about, you'll see that Eli does a great Star Wars Kid impersonation.

At Close Range
A wicked cold winter morning.
The mask makes determining facial expressions on a Power Ranger challenging at best, however, we're pretty sure in this one, he's happy.
The latest home version of Dancing with the Stars: Snow White and the Power Ranger.
